Our team works on the embodiment of our mission – to develop a society based on traditional moral values and harmony of people and society’s interests. In order to embody such mission into life we work with youth and for youth.
 
The concept of our work lies in doing activities in all spheres of youth life: studying, development, creative work, employment, entertainment.
 
We try not only to change people but also to teach them to change others and the world around us. We have chosen traditional methods of this world – developing and realizing projects – in order to achieve our purpose.
More than 42 projects were realized by Volyn Youth Right Protection Association during its work (since 1999). However, we assess our achievements according to other results:
1.      The team of Association consists of 15 professionals in branches of law, politology, information, sociology, economic, finances, and social work.
2.      The “Iniciativa” newspaper, a founder and publisher of which is Association, is the only youth newspaper of Volyn. It is published and distributed for free in Volyn region;
3.      Association is the only human rights organization that realizes projects concerning prisoners, those who are on the register of criminal and executive inspection boards, or those who are released. In 2007 the Agreement about the long – term cooperation with Volyn Enforcement of Sentences Department was signed.
 
4.      Members of Association lobby interests of representatives of their target group – the youth - in Public Council under Ministry of Internal Affairs of Volyn region, Public Council under Lutsk mayor, in Public Council underVolyn Enforcement of Sentences Department, and in Public Council under Youth and Sport Department of Volyn state administration.
 
5.      Editions of Association are noticed as ones with high analytical contents and urgency of questions (socially responsible business, youth rights, resocialization of young convicts, running a business, rights and duties of voters, monitoring of city council deputies’ activities, supporting and developing social initiatives in rural areas). In general, more than 20 editions which are approximately 25 000 copies were published and spread.
 
6.      Association is an information partner of International Fund “Vidrodzhennia” and a partner of the Fund named after Stephan Batorij (Poland) in Volyn regin.
 
History of creating
The idea to create youth right protection organization appeared during a student strike for renewal of travel privileges in inter-town transport.
The initiative group that consisted of three youth organizations (Volyn organization “Zarevo”, Volyn organization “Young Republican”, and the League of the youth of a social democratic union) decided to create a non-governmental organization – Volyn Youth Right Protection Association.
0n May 13, 1999 the constituent conference was held in Lutsk and as a result the Association was established. The organization was registered on November 13, 1999 by Volyn Board of Justice. The main purpose of its activities is total protection of lawful interests of members of Association and the youth of Volyn.
Mission: to promotethe development of the just civil society that is based on the ideals of democracy, traditional moral values, and harmony of interests of society and a person.
 
The primary goals:
- to promote an  intersector partnership among government bodies, business, and communities;
- to support the unemployed youth of Volyn region;
- to give psychological and legal consultations to young people;
- to spread information about public organizations’ activities;
- to raise the level of skills and knowledge of the youth, their legal awareness;
- to develop and support initiatives of rural communitis.
 
Basic kinds of activities:
- organizing and holding information and education activities (seminars, trainings, master-classes, meetings, “educational hours”, contests of projects etc);
- giving free consultations on the matter of law to young people of Volyn as well as on employment, studying, establishing public organizations, running a business etc;
- technical assistance and  information support of representatives of public organizations of Volyn, government authorities, and local government administrations;
- regrant activities within announced contests of the projects.
